I didn’t build Ask Ali because I had life figured out.
I built it because I’ve spent years learning how to find a way forward when life gets complicated.
Ask Ali exists to show women the love of Jesus while equipping them to embrace and embody the abundant life God created them for.
Show the love of Jesus.
Women living more fully in the abundant life God created them for.
Practical tools, honest conversations, RESET, perspective shifts, resources, coaching, and real life.
Untangle the chaos. Build a life that works.
Lived experience matters. So does training.
My work is grounded in both real-life experience and formal training in peer support, crisis intervention, parenting, behavior support, and developmental disabilities.

Find the thread in the mess.
Long before there was a website, a RESET System, or anything called Ask Ali, I was the person someone called when they were overwhelmed, stuck, confused, or staring at a problem that felt too big. I’d sit beside them and start with one question: “Okay. What’s actually happening?”
My life has not exactly followed a straight line.
I’ve rebuilt after painful relationships, navigated divorce and complicated family dynamics, lived blended-family life, walked through motherhood that didn’t arrive the way I expected, infertility and loss, career changes, money stress, major moves, starting over, and more than a few moments where there was absolutely no instruction manual for what came next.
There have been plenty of times when I couldn’t change the situation I was standing in. But I could figure out what to do with it.
You do not have to know how the entire story ends to figure out your next move.
Peer support gave a name to something I already knew how to do.
Becoming a Certified Peer Counselor taught me how to listen without immediately trying to fix someone, look at the whole situation, help people identify what they actually need, and help another person find their answer instead of handing them mine.
Most people do not need someone standing over them saying, “Here’s what you should do.” They need someone willing to sit beside them long enough to say, “Let’s figure out what’s really going on here.”
Real life. Better questions. Practical ways forward.
Ask Ali wasn’t created because I decided I wanted to become an internet expert. I’m still figuring things out, still learning in real time, and still occasionally looking at my own life thinking, “Well… how the hell are we going to handle this one?”
I think lived experience matters. Perspective matters. Better questions matter. And there is enormous value in having someone help you take a giant complicated problem and turn it into something you can actually look at.
